Bookstamp - Royal Dutch Post

2010 A postage stamp that consists of a tiny eight-page book for Dutch postal company Royal TNT Post. The stamp measures 3 by 4 centimetres and contains a 500-word story, specially written for the stamp by Dutch author Joost Zwagerman. It was commissioned to mark the 75th Dutch Boekenweek (book week). The stamp won the Van de Speyk Award for the most innovative graphic design from The Netherlands in 2010. It is the first stamp in the world which is a book at the same time. The whole edition of 400.000 prints was sold out in 1 day. Part of the permanent collection of The Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam, The Museum of Communication, The Hague, and MOTI museum Breda.
